Do I need an account or internet connection?
No account is required. Journaling works offline. External links and contacting support may need an internet connection.
Does Luma sync my journal?
There is no automatic cloud sync; iPhone and iPad journals are separate. Apple Health menstrual-flow import and export are optional and manually reviewed. Device backups may include your journal. You choose what to share in exported summaries; notes are excluded by default.
Can Luma answer a health question?
No. Luma cannot assess symptoms or recommend treatment. It provides general education and personal records only. If you feel unwell or have any health question or concern, seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional; do not wait for or rely on Luma.
How do I get help?
Use the contact page and include your app version, device model and a description of the issue. Please do not send journal entries or sensitive health information.
When are period estimates available?
Estimates require enough confirmed history and may be unavailable when records are insufficient, variable or affected by an active cycle factor. They are for planning only, not fertility or contraception.
